Following the successful launch of the Festival in 2008, we are piecing together another 3 days of fabulous Jazz Art and Blues to be held in what we believe is New Zealand's most stunning beach destination - Whangamata.
This year we have 15 confirmed venues - over 25 New Zealand acts - and over 30 New Zealand artists showing their paintings, photographs and sculptures.
This years festival will be the kick off event of the Pohutakawa Festival. As was the case last year, most venues are free entry with the major musical event of the festival to be held on Saturday 21st November at 12pm at the Whangamata Sports Grounds and feature a 2 and 1/2 hour show with a market, reserved seated tables and standing ticket holders all enjoying 5 top New Zealand musical acts. For this event tables of 6 with wine and food are $300 and can be booked via the event organizer, and general admission is just $25.
Drink and food will be available on site.
