Cinema SoundEX

In 2009, The Music & Artists' Social Club organisers came up with an ingenious idea. An experimental experience for filmmakers and for composers. Filmmakers were asked to make a 2-3 minute short film by October 01. Those short films were then each given to a composer, who had until November 01 to write, record, and sync the music to the film.

This is the inaugural Music & Artists' Social Club Cinema SoundEX screening.

This is also the final MASC gig at Happy for 2009. Woo!

Live Musical Performances include...

- Original music from local singer-songwriters Andy Savage and Tony Wilson.
- 'Cycles, Shadows', by Anton Killin
- 'The Price of the Mass Production of Knowledge' by Pieta Hextall. Performed by Isaac Stone, Simon Eastwood, Anna McGregor, Kylie Nesbit, Ben Woods, Natalie Matias, Karlo Magnetic, Simon Dickson, Pieta Hextall
-Neighbourhood Cat (live with film)
-'Finale', a new piece by Anton Killin.
A big finish with performers from The Improv Noise Band
