A Month of Living Dangerously
A filming trip to North Borneo (Sabah) where mountains were climbed, rain forests explored, politics exposed, durian devoured, traitors, T-shirts, pitcher plants, cockroaches, cartoons, cable cars and orchid poaching,..once again cameraman Robin Kewell dips into his film archive to bring this talk alive. Setting out from the UK to shoot a tourist promotional film, things took a very different turn on arrival...films clips, photos, drawings and extracts from Robin’s diary all add up for another evening of ,'armchair adventure'.
