Spring is here and the crack of the baseball bat is resonating across the ballparks of Auckland. The 2009 Spring Shield is in full swing!
The Auckland Premier Baseball season rolls on this weekend with the top players from the Auckland competition taking to the field in the fourth round of the Spring Shield.
The Angels take on the powerful Howick 1 team at 10am at McLeod Park, while the West City Wildcats travel across town to take on Howick 2 at their home ground of Lloyd Elsmore, also throwing down at 10am.
The action is going to be intense, so get there early to support your boys.
McLeod Park is now an even greater place to spend a Sunday, so grab your friends and family, bring a picnic and some sunscreen, and get down to your local ballpark at McLeod Park to check out the action.
The boys of summer are back in town.
