NZTrio, an ensemble hailed for its intense and exhilarating performances, has built up an enthusiastic following in its seven years together. Violinist Justine Cormack, cellist Ashley Brown and pianist Sarah Watkins are each established soloists in their own right and together they play with panache and sensitivity, bringing to their concerts an eclectic mix of styles, moods and energy.
During the group’s five city “Flourishes” tour, audiences will experience exquisite music by Mozart, Ravel, Arvo Part and Kiwi composers Eve de Castro-Robinson and Wayan Yudane.
