Russell Poole, innovator and educator, has put together a new genre in art - Image and Verse. The photos of Native Birds are the catalyst for the verse. Russell builds a rapport with the birds in Shakespear Park, Whangaparaoa, and gains their confidence to get close enough to engage them and consequently photograph them.
