The Sitting Room gig in the Nelson Arts Festival was a huge success, with 500 people dancing like loons until the plug got pulled sometime after midnight.
People had so much fun a date has been booked at the Phat Club for a more sweaty and intimate follow-up party called Soul Kitchen on Saturday, November 28.
This will be the last Soul Kitchen gig until sometime in the New Year, and it will be a doozy as Sitting Room DJ Grant Smithies serves up a second helping of piping hot dancefloor treats- funk, disco, Jamaican dancehall, Brazilian salsa, African music, rare soul and reggae 45's, and much more.
Strictly limited tickets $20 from Everyman Records, and there' ll be no door sales, so first in, first served.
