Four-wheel-drive vehicles owners around the wider Auckland region can enjoy taking their vehicle off-road in a safe, enjoyable and free ‘have a go’ day on Sunday 29 November.
If you've never have taken your 4WD off the tar seal, have a go at the short and instructive course designed especially for those who would love to learn more of the skills needed to safely take their 4WD off-road. Experts are on-hand to explain how to negotiate each ‘obstacle’ on this course that’s easy on your vehicle, and you'll definitely get a real taste of what four-wheel-driving is all about. All the family is welcome.
There’s no charge for using the ‘have a go’ track. If you want to try more, for just $10 a vehicle, tackle the mud bog! Or try one of the park’s beginners’ tracks at a special price of $45 per vehicle (normally $55).
- BBQ food and cold drinks on sale
- 4WD accessory and equipment retailers onsite
- Children ride free in the new Hagglund Antarctic tracked-vehicle ($45 for adults)
- Sunday 29 November
- 10am to 2pm
- Woodhill Forest, take the Rimmers Road entrance off Highway 16, just south of Helensville (refer to www.jeep4wdpark.co.nz for full directions and a map.)
Bought to you by the teams from NZ 4WD magazine and Jeep Woodhill 4WD Adventure Park
