The Featherston Christmas Market is one of Featherstons’ main events. It was attended by over 2000 visitors in 2008.
The event has been around since 2007 and has been inspired by Christmas markets overseas, particularly in Europe. It combines New Zealand traditions with those from the northern hemisphere.
The boutique style market offers visitors a range of gifts, food and entertainment, all related to the Christmas theme.
The venue has been set up as a village square, with ample seating for diners, and plenty to do for young and old.
