From award-winning group, RUA, Jimmy Young & James Wilkinson; create a contemporary fusion of Celtic & Jazz influenced music. They have been touring for the last 12 years, building an enthusiastic audience for their acoustic music. From jazzy piping, to one-handed guitar playing, and onto songs by Eric Clapton and the Beatles, as well as their own compositions.
Recently they have concentrated on working with Kiwi legend, Shona Laing, with whom they recorded a CD, ‘Sparrow Songs’. A tour throughout NZ with her is planned for the New Year. They have just played Wellington Festival and Auckland, as well as Keri Keri on their Northland outing.
