Nz Music Award Nominee Ladyhawke announces New Zealand headline tour October / November 2009.
Modular Touring & C4 Presents…
The New Zealand born chanteuse, Ladyhawke will sprinkle her heart racing vintage pop over her homeland for her three date headline tour.
Ladyhawke, aka Pip Brown has lived a rocket ride of an existence over the past 18 months, spending a lengthy stint abroad supporting her lauded, self titled debut and now she’s bringing it all back home. Tickets go on sale Tuesday 8th September.
Since her debut album was released last year, Ladyhawke has been in high demand - playing just about every European festival you could care to mention, she has been splashed across the tabloids, fashion bibles and music rags, a gold album in Australia, NZ and the UK, and has just been nominated for several New Zealand Music Awards.
The tour begins in Auckland, with a fleeting visit to her hometown Wellington before finishing up in Christchurch. Supporting Pip on the road across the New Zealand dates will be fellow New Zealanders, Over The Atlantic.
Her next single “Magic” – produced with her chief collaborator, world-renowned producer Pascal Gabriel (S-Express, Bomb The Bass, Kylie, New Order) will be released digitally in New Zealand on the 6th of October. The Collectors Edition of her debut album is out now.
