Dub Day Out is a free all ages reggae/dub music festival right beside the beach in Brighton.

Organised and produced by the Live Sound and Event Production students from The Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand (MAINZ) Dub Day Out will provide an enjoyable and free day of fun in the sun on Sunday afternoon 01 November 2009 at Thompson Park, New Brighton.

Dub Day Out will provide something for everyone with activities ranging from live dub/reggae style bands and DJs, to bouncy castles and play areas for the kids. Headline Act for the day will be Christchurch top reggae band Taos. Dub Day Out will also include ‘The Super Bowl’ skate demo and competition featuring the newest and largest skate bowl in Christchurch. Everyone is welcome to come and participate in one way or another!
