The Annual Conference 2009 will be held in Blenheim in late November. The Conference will be followed by the NZAA / STIHL National Tree Climbing Championship on Saturday, 21st November and culminate with the Conference Dinner & Awards Ceremony.

General information
The NZAA Annual Conference is the largest event for arboriculture-related business and features key international and national speakers within the industry and wider tree care community.

Make sure you check out the latest products and services that concern your business and get information to manage your organisation better, improve productivity, increase profitability, and network with other arboricultural-business service providers, suppliers and other organisations.

The Conference theme is...
Arboriculture: as a profitable business
. . . a theme of vital relevance to all businesses in these challenging times.

This Conference offers an exceptional opportunity for organisations of all sizes to gain the ‘tools’ they need to develop their business. The Conference is a great place for any enterprise to network with others, while learning about new ways to make running your business easier.

The three day arboricultural convention is kick-started with two days of conference sessions (Thursday and Friday). Running alongside the main theme of ‘Profitable Business’, there are two concurrent programmes (Heritage Trees and Utility Arborists), one on each day. Meanwhile, there are post-conference social/networking events, including the inaugural ‘Tāne Mahuta Public Lecture’.

On the Saturday, the NZAA / STIHL National Tree Climbing Championships take place, where the cream of country’s professional tree-climbers fight ‘limb-to-limb’ for the National Title and the chance to represent New Zealand at the ISA World Championships. This is followed by the Conference Dinner and Awards Ceremony at the exclusive Bancroft Winery Restaurant.

If you are in the tree care business, you can’t afford to miss this event.
