Ed Mason Classic Baseball Tournament

The Auckland Baseball Association kicks off the season in style this weekend with a tournament competition of fast paced baseball action with teams competing in the Ed Mason Classic at the Lloyd Elsmore Baseball Park in Pakuranga.

In an action packed day, the teams compete in a round robin type competition, with games lasting one hour twenty minutes. Each team is set to play two to three games throughout the day with the first pitch being thrown at 8.30am.

The US Major League Baseball season is coming to a dramatic climax and what better way to continue to get your fix of baseball than heading on down to the ballpark this season to support your team in the Ed Mason Classic this weekend!

The Auckland Premier Baseball League is set to commence on the 8th of November with teams vying for the Auckland Championship, as well as individual players looking to cement a spot on the New Zealand Baseball team.

Keep a look out every Sunday at McLeod Park in Te Atatu, or Lloyd Elsmore Baseball Park in Pakuranga for your fix of live baseball action with the best players in the country competing for top honours.
