‘Cartwright Comes of Age?’ One Day Seminar in Auckland on the 6th November.
This seminar is of relevance to all health professionals, health and disability consumers, health policy makers, health interested academics and those who envision a 21st century health care system with the principles of Cartwright as its foundation.
Key note speakers for the seminar include:
Sandra Coney, co-author of the ‘Unfortunate Experiment’
Ron Paterson, Health and Disability Commissioner
Professor Kevin Dew, Victoria University
Katrine Evans, Assistant Privacy Commissioner
Workshop presenters include Professor of Nursing Jenny Carryer (Massey University), Dr Charlotte Paul (School of Medicine, University of Otago), Jo Manning (School of Law, The University of Auckland), Judi Strid (Director of Advocacy, HDC) and Richman Wee (Chair and Legal Member of the Multi Region Ethics Committee). Midwifery Council has allocated the seminar 5 points for professional activity under the HPCA.
