The Liberation army has disbanded. Camille Paglia has a fan club. In the aftermath of Revolution has anything changed?
Death is stuck. Historically she's been celebrated and revered, but now the critics just don't care. Struggling to recreate her identity and intrinsically linked to everyone else's, Death learns that charm is not enough to liberate her from a society compelled to institutionalise ideals and identities in order to maintain control.
Forged in the furnace of passion for exposing the real while exploring the surreal, BabyshadS (And They Did, Imagining Reality) presents Charm Is Not Enough; a twisted comedy combining art installation and dance theatre.
"Imagining Reality was hilarious, uncomfortable, and totally committed. A slick, sassy and seriously entertaining script of satiric invention and social comment." - Deirdre Tarrant, Capital Times, 21 February 2007
Directed by Hannah Clarke, with live music by Ningizzida, you’ll never see BATS the same way again!
