Comedy hits the road this May as the Crunchie® Comedy Convoy brings laughs to the heartland. Since its 2002 debut the Convoy has given audiences outside of the main centers the opportunity to experience the best comedians from New Zealand and abroad.
Ben Hurley, last years’ winner of THE FRED award for best veteran kiwi comedian, and former Billy T winner Paul Ego make up the New Zealand contingent of this travelling comedy carnival. Wilson Dixon, a faux-country singer from the United States, Australian working mother and Melbourne Comedy Festival headliner Fiona O’Loughlin, and gleefully silly political Canadian Glenn Wool round out the Convoy lineup.
