As the driving force behind many projects, Warren Maxwell enjoys near legendary status amongst the music savvy. As former frontman of Trinity Roots and saxophonist for Fat Freddy’s Drop, Warren recently took the plunge to concentrate on leading the blues quartet Little Bushman whose music has been described in the Sunday Star Times as “raw, rocky and psychedelic”.

We collectively try to create a journey without sounding contrived & have made a conscious decision to use influences from the experimental, psychedelic Rock era of the 60's & 70's: Led Zep, Jimi Hendrix, The Who."

Harbour City Electric are a live 7 piece Soul/Funk and Hip Hop outfit based in Wellington. Starting out as a rotating line up of top Wellington musicians, The band have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with loads of guests including members of Solaa, PBass Expressway, The Recloose Live Band, The Deva Mahal Band, Olmecha Supreme, Twinset and The Pleasures amongst other top acts from around Aotearoa. Formed late 2006, things have been on the up ever since. Profile has built steadily In Wellington through a successful weekly residency at Sandwiches bar, and a variety of headline shows around the country.
