Lawrence Arabia - Two Fleeting Solo Appearances

This month, Lawrence Arabia returns to New Zealand’s musical venues for two fleeting solo appearances. With only a guitar, a sampler, a keyboard, a tin whistle, a few pieces of percussion and lots of singing and playing friends to accompany him, these shows will strip bare the songs of one of New Zealand’s most singular songwriters, and usher them naked onto the stage like those dreams you have when you find yourself naked on a stage. Lawrence Arabia will be performing fully clothed.

In March this year, Lawrence released his second album, “Chant Darling,” which has found mucho favour with reviewers all over the place... He will be performing songs from that album, as well as older numbers, covers, and an unprecedented dance element.
