Jonny Love and Midnight Youth

Real Groovy are proud to present Jonny Love and Midnight Youth, both playing a free acoustic set on Friday 29 May to celebrate NZ Music Month.

Midnight Youth have truly hit the ground running on the back of the phenomenal success of their singles ‘The Letter’ and ‘All On Our Own’, from their debut album THE BRAVE DON’T RUN.

Leading up to the album release, the band spent a busy six months touring New Zealand and the United States - including shows across New Zealand with The Veronicas, and Metro Station. The North American dates included the acclaimed SXSW music festival in Austin (Texas), and shows in New York and at Los Angeles famed Viper Room.

One of the top unsigned bands on Myspace in 2008, Midnight Youth have also played across the country with bands such as Incubus, Ok Go and locals Opshop.

Jonny Love, who has also toured with Op shop’s Jason Kerrison, will be showcasing his troubadour talents with a selection of songs from his well-received debut album.

This is rare opportunity to see two amazing acts playing live and acoustic, hosted by Real Groovy in association with New Zealand Music Month
