Form & Dimension presents a dynamic exploration of innovative small sculpture. Immaculately executed small sculptures explore a change of pace and stature.
Form & Dimension celebrates creativity across a diversity of materials including glass, wood, stone, bronze and metal. The works are by a range of artists including cutting-edge emerging artists to highly accomplished sculptors. Among those represented are Lucy Bucknall, Jim Wheeler, Te Ronga Kirkwood, Tanya Blong, Janet Belton, Claudine Muru, Iosefa Leo, Brendan Adams and Blair Smith.
Lucy Bucknall recently won the People’s Choice in the headland Sculpture on the Gulf on Waiheke Island. Jim Wheeler presents exquisite and thoughtful work in bronze. Maori artist Claudine Muru is highly regarded for her works in glass. Tanya Blong moves from timber to bronze exploring this new medium. Iosefa Leo shows his spiritual carving in stone.
Form & Dimension contemporary small sculpture opens at The Lane Gallery on Tuesday, 5th May and continues until Saturday 23rd May. The gallery is open from Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday from
10am to 4pm.
