"Its Been a Hard Days Night" they are the greatest of all time! They Rock, they're cool, hip and mod - they're boys that know how to have fun. The "Beatles" songs are outstanding...you can sing along with them, dance to them or just let loose.

Gosh, all of them! But my favourite of all time has to be...

    Yellow Submarine.

It's such a fun, happy song which lacks in most music today! I miss it!

In My Life - it's got wonderful lyrics and the tune is lovely. It's quite romantic really, but it also reminds me of my grandfather who passed away. My husband and I a string version of the song as our first dance song. So it will always have meaning to me romantically and also to remember my grandfather by.

HELP! - Its my first recolection of listening (and seeing) a Beatles song, as it was on Christmas Day TV in the late 60's in the UK. Its such a peppy and poppy song yet its all about what we all go through, we believe we are invincible and bullet proof, and then life happens and we realise we do need others and love to get us through. Great melody, great words, Unforgettable music!!! Beatles RULE!

I am the Walrus is my favourite song. Partly to do with the nonsenical rhymes and the images I have when hearing the somg, but also because of an article I read about John Lennon and why he wrote it. Apparently everyone always tried to make more of John's songs than there really was so he made this one up to stump people.

Imagine is my favourite - it has such high ideals for our world, and there is no reason for these not to be attained. We all should work together for world peace, for harmony, to help save the world from all sorts of destruction. It is a powerful song, with a haunting melody.

Yesterday - because it was the song that made me (as a child) realise how the music makes the mood of the song. We also sung it in a school competition when I was at primary (many, many moons ago) and everytime I hear it I am taken back to that time and feeling!! Thats the power of music :)

Come together is a great example of how much the music written by the Beatles is timeless. I grew up listening to their music and taught myself to play piano with their music ONLY! My mum was in love with them and there was always pics and videos and albums, tapes and then CDs around to listen to!
    Something is very pretty also.
There sure is Something in the way we have all Come Together to talk about such awesome music from such a awesome band!

I still Yellow Submarine - it reminds me of good times at Primary School. The whole school had singing every Friday afternoon and we learnt that song but the music teacher used to get upset because we'd all sing We all live in a Yella submarine! "Yellow, it's yell-OWWWW, not yell-A" - I can still picture him getting all fired up about it now! We all live in a Yella submarine...!

One of my favouite has to be Penny Lane, my first full time job at age 15 yrs was in a shop a few mtrs from the corner of Penny Lane. Lunch time I would walk past the bus shelter mentioned in the song and down to the local park, there was also the barbers shop and fire station,
I havent been back to Liverpool for 30 yrs and hope it hasn't changed.

I would have to say my favourite song is "Hey Jude".
Whenever I was introduced to guys they would usually break into song and sing versions of "Hey Jude" complete with the Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude! Accompanied by their friends of course by this stage!
Very funny and an instant ice breaker :) and it still makes me smile when I think about it!

My favourite song is "With a little help from my friends". It's got a great melody, and it really gets across the message that we can't go through life alone. There are times when you have to acknowledge you needs the help of your friends.
