Two renowned saxophonists from opposite sides of the Tasman feature alongside some of the finest names in Australian and New Zealand jazz.
This concert sees Kiwi saxophonist Roger Manins reunited with Australia’s ‘national treasure’ Bernie McGann. Joined by Australian guitarist Carl Dewhurst, Kiwi musicians Paul Dyne (bass) and Reuben Bradley (drums), complete the bill in an afternoon of Trans-Tasman harmony.
The winner of the New Zealand Best Jazz Album Tui Award will be
announced during this event.
The McGann & Manins Australasian Project will take place in the Ilott Theatre as part of the Wellington Jazz Festival.
