***There is an extra market on Anniversary Monday 1st Februay 2010.***
This new rural market was opened a year ago by Roger & Vyvyan Vincent and has grown to over 90 stalls on a sunny day! Stalls are really varied and stallholders come from as far away at Te Kauwhata, Rotorua and Tauranga, plus the Coromandel and Auckland.
Come to Pokeno and enjoy the country market experience. Take Pokeno exit and stop en route, have an icecream and browse our new market right opposite the shops in Pokeno Village off the Expressway to Hamilton from Bombay or the other way round Hamilton to Bombay!!
Stalls of interest - arts, crafts, antiques, organics, plants, flowers, jams, pickles, veges, books, outdoor furniture, rawena bread, childrens clothing, babies knitted clothing, jewellery, chocolates and sweets, maori flax flower bouquets and baskets, and lots lots more.
Phone 09 2388831 for further information.
New stallholders welcome - conditions apply.
During wet weather the market will re-locate to tarseal truck stop opposite current paddock site.
Markets will continue every Sunday through the holiday period so call in when travelling south on a Sunday, we are open from 9am until 4pm every Sunday.
