Driftopia - Drift and Grip Expression Sessions

Surge Promotions Ltd brings you driftopia, drift and grip expression sessions.

That's right, we are pleased to announce we have secured a date at Pukekohe for our first event of 2009!

Due to the success of our last event, we are expecting the same sell out response for this event. If you would like to secure a spot, please complete the entry form found on our website and make payment.

This will be a drift and grip day. Only 20 grip session spots available, so make sure you don’t miss out!

Your entry includes entry for two crew members, all others must pay the advertised entry fee.

Entries will be limited and we will not be taking any entries on the day. All entrants must sign up and pay the entry fee pre event.

IMPORTANT INFO: All entrants must comply with our supplementary regulations, which can be found on our website. Please also know the flags and their meanings.

All entrants MUST be a member of a car club. You can join the NZDA, Club memberships will be $40 annually. We will be putting on club events throughout the year and doing club activities.

This event will be run under MSNZ, as a Clubsport Event. All drift drivers will need to adhere to Schedule DR, which can be found on our website. Rollcages are not compulsory for this event, however cars with rollcages, fixed back racing seat and harness can take passengers. Passengers of all vehicles must also wear the minimum requirements.

Competitor Info:
Gates open to competitors from 8.30am, all drivers must be through the gates by 9.00am.
Documentation will take place in the Jennian Homes building from 8.30am
Scrutineering will take place in the first pit bay from 8.30am.
Drivers briefing will take place at 9.45am
On track from 10.15am
Day ends at 5.00pm

Spectators
Admission: $10 each, all ages, no exceptions.
No dogs and No Alcohol to be brought into the grounds.
No Eftpos sorry.
Gates open to spectators at 10am

What is driftopia?
driftopia - drift expression sessions are designed for drifters of all drift levels to have some fun in a safe and controlled environment, off the streets of New Zealand.

Not only do you get to follow and chase other vehicles in your session, but you get the chance to talk to and be tutored by some of New Zealand's top drifters, and at no extra cost to you! Our chosen tutors are allowed in your vehicle with you as either your passenger or the driver, the choice is yours!

These days are great for new comers to the sport right up to top competing drivers, as these days are spilt into sessions, so you will be in a group of people around the same level as you.

These days are also about respecting your environment and others around, as were all out for the same reason, to have fun sliding sideways.
