Held over four days, from 18 to 21 March 2009, the ASB Polyfest is the largest Maori and Pacific Islands festival in the world.
Experience the South Pacific at its finest at this unique cultural festival featuring traditional music, dance, costume and speeches.
You’ll be astounded at the quality of competitors who come from a multitude of cultures to compete in dance and speeches. The festival highlights the passion and pride they have for their heritage, and the discipline and commitment they have to become the best in the Auckland region.
The theme for the 2009 ASB Polyfest is “Many Cultures, One World”. The festival is hosted by Wesley College at the Manukau Sportsbowl.
