The Recloose Live Band are playing at The Festival Club, part of Red Square - the heart of Auckland Festival 2009; a multi-venue hub based in the Aotea Centre precinct, incorporating The Famous Spiegeltent, the Festival Club, and the Stella Artois Festival Bar. With easy access to The Civic, the Town Hall, Aotea Centre, SkyCity Theatre and the Basement (home to The Fringe), Red Square is the Festival party zone — the place to start and end a day of festival experiences.

For the uninitiated, DJ Recloose, ex-Detroit, and his all-star band is a motley collection of New Zealand's most inspired and respected musicians, talents that have come out of their respective bands to participate in a frenzy of inspired tropical techno-funk they might not otherwise play. The Recloose Live Band has toured extensively, rocking to roaring audiences wherever they have dropped anchor.
