MY FAIR LADY is coming!

Joining star of Australian stage-and-screen, William McInnes (Blue Heelers, SeaChange, A Country Practice and recent AFI Best Actor Award winner for Unfinished Sky) as Henry Higgins and the critically-acclaimed Taryn Fiebig as Eliza is a star-studded cast that includes Robert Grubb, Ilona Rodgers and Hayden Tee.

Robert Grubb (best known in New Zealand for his starring roles in the popular television series, The Flying Doctors and in films Paradise Road, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, Phar Lap, Gallipoli and My Brilliant Career) will play Eliza’s rascally father, Alfred P. Doolittle.

New Zealand theatrical legend, Ilona Rodgers (Gloss, Marlin Bay) will make her debut in this production as Higgins’ fabulously acerbic mother and society dame, Mrs. Higgins.

The cast also features one of New Zealand’s brightest young theatrical exports, Hayden Tee (Les Misérables, South Pacific, Kiss Me Kate) Freddy Eynsford-Hill, Rhys McConnochie as Colonel Picking, and Robyn Arthur as Mrs. Pearce.

Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe’s musical, My Fair Lady, is an adaptation of George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion.

Featuring some of the most memorable Broadway hits of all time, the magic of My Fair Lady continues to endure. Few can forget ‘The Rain in Spain’, or be able to resist singing along to ‘I Could Have Danced all Night’, ‘Get Me to the Church on Time’, and ‘Wouldn’t it be Loverly’.

Transporting audiences to the lively heart of London, My Fair Lady features a delightful mix of comedy and romance. This international production comes to New Zealand after return seasons in Sydney and Melbourne and rave reviews across Australia.

With a stellar cast, extravagant sets, outstanding performances, a virtuosic chorus and a veritable fashion parade of stunning costumes – My Fair Lady is a guaranteed night of pure theatre magic.

“Faithful, enchanting production” - Sydney Morning Herald

" . . . ticks all the boxes . . . visually stunning, filled with comedy and likeable characters performed by a talented and charismatic cast” - Daily Telegraph

Directed by Stuart Maunder (Dusty, Shout!) with designs by Roger Kirk (Tony Award winner - The King and I) and Richard Roberts (Dirty Dancing, The Pirates of Penzance) this timeless tale about the making of a lady is nothing short of absolutely bloomin’ loverly - Sunday Telegraph

I've grown accustomed to being absolutely overwhelmed and surprised by the natural and honest feel musical theatre and theatre give to the audience. Every performance is unique and creates its own feelings of emotions within the audience, i love being both: a part of the production and a part of the audience.

I've grown accustomed to... well... nothing.
Life seems so full of suprises that nothing even remains the same long enough to grow accustomed to it. When you think everything will always happen the same, then life throws something exciting into the mix!
And I hope I never grow accustomed to anything! Otherwise life would be so dull!

I have grown accustomed to my cats jumping on the bed early in the morning and all 3 of them sitting in a row watching me and willing me to wake up and feed them. It works.

...Although if I should win tickets I promise not to ruin it for everyone else in the crowd, needless to say I would be absolutely stoked to go along to My Fair Lady.

I grew accustomed to "My Fair Lady" at a young age. It reminds me of my late grandparents because we would always sing along to the soundtrack in the car. I also performed "Wouldn't it be Loverley" at a school variety show. I would love to finally see the show live.

    I've grown accustomed to...CORONATION STREET.
Have watched it for 37 years and when I moved to Sydney, I really missed it! So much, I had to come home to NZ. (there may have been a couple of other smaller reasons).....silly but quirky.

"I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face." Seriously I have. She, not the cat's mother, just looked at me with such a look of pure love that my heart melted.

I have grown accustomed to Dancing All Night on the Street Where he Lives, or waiting in Spain in the Rain for him to say Without Me he is An Ordinary Man. With a Little Bit of Luck he will take me to Ascot and eventually I will be telling my friends to Get Me To the Church On Time for our wedding. Wouldn't It Be Loverly? Just You Wait - One day I'll Say "I Did It!"

I have started to grow accustomed to pushing myself outside my usual boundries. I don't want to miss out on life because I worry about what might or might not happen. So far I have tried new foods this year that I would just assume I won't like, and have gone on a CPR course.

I have grown accustomed to life in my beautiful adopted country New Zealand. There is such a variety of flavours, cultures and celebrations that embrace people from all strata's of society. I wish I could afford to go to more of the great variety of festivals, concerts and shows that come to our shores. The few venues I have been to are beautiful, accesible and the audiences really know how to make the artists and performers feel welcome and appreciated. So I guess I have grown accustomed to longing to go to events that I cannot really afford. :>0)

I've grown accustomed to spending to much time at work and not enough time with my three boys and loverly wife. My wife works 3 days a week, sometimes weekends, takes the boys to school and sports, washing, most cooking and cleaning, organizes finances and social events. She always thinks of the boys and me before herself and this would be a great opportunity to show how much we appreciate all of this as she said she would love to go to My Fair Lady. She loves the old favourites and has been to some of the big shows but not this one. We have also grown accusomed to being a middle income familly that can't afford night's out and have had a student for the last six years to pay the bills. I have also grown accustomed to trying to win tickets ffor things like this for that very reason.

I've grown accustomed to doing things on my own since my husband passed away so winning tickets would be great because I could invite someone to join me.
