Created by the Wellington Marathon Clinic, the Shoe Clinic Harbour Capital Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km has been Wellington's favourite footrace for 23 years.
Based at the Capital's famous Westpac Stadium, the fast, flat, scenic route around Wellington's spectacular waterfront, combined with your challenge of choice, creates an occasion for all age and ability.
In 2008 we introduced the new "Kid's Magic Mile" so that the whole family can be involved. This was a great success, with almost 200 kids taking up the challenge.
All told, almost 4000 rock up for this great day every year . . . but don't take our word for it . . . take up the challenge and find out for yourself.
Entries for the 2009 Shoe Clinic Harbour Capital Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and Kid's Magic Mile will be available in February.
