kids4kids is an entertainment packed event with a hip hop workshop, international arts and crafts, an African drumming workshop and a fun filled session with New Zealand’s loudest mime artist Mr. Fungus learning about refugees and cultural diversity.
This is a fun filled day packed with activities for children aged 5-12 years, qand they'll get to experience each workshop. It's a great opportunity for children to get to know other children from different backgrounds, have fun, learn new languages and even make a card and write a letter to a child living in a refugee camp in on the other side of the world.
“Kids4Kids” will provide adult supervision and along with all the activities, the cost of $25 for the day includes a Burmese lunch. Funds raised will support the work of Children on the Edge and Refugee Services. Bookings are essential and can be made at kids4kids@childrenontheedge.org.nz or by phoning 04 460 7455.
