Thanks for all the great ideas, everyone...there's obviously no correct answer, so we're going with "groovier" for this one...congratulations.

Paul Ubana Jones - Yes please!!!

Arguably one of the best acoustic blues musicians that NZ doesn't appreciate that it has here- fusing in gravelly blues and soul and the meanest guitar you'll ever hear. ;)

I would love see names like Tiki Taane or Liam Finn to add some twist and even more kiwi flavour to the show. I consider Fly my Pretties to be such a display of Aotearoas unique and inspired talents.

For me it has to be Che Fu - he has such a sweet voice and style,...and hes fun! He would add without losing or blocking anyone, another layer winding through the Mix :-) Make him the fantail darting through the bush xx

Right you guys: Just one thing b 4 u make a comment in this competition.................

I see the subject is being CREATIVE - BUT please don't be creative WITH ARTISTS NAMES!!! THEY certainly don't appreciate it!!

ie it is Tiki TANE (not TIki TANA!).

    sonicjett

PS I'm not entering the comp. this time (as I won it before - plus I DON'T live in Wellington! Nya ha ha!!!)

But seriously - THANKS TICKETMASTER for the really great prizes - tickets AND CD's!! Keep up the good work!!

I think we need to work to keep our up and coming talent in the country as much as possible, so the people i'd like to see playing alongside the pretties crew would be the likes of Lawrence Arabia, the Ragamuffin children, the Klap, the undercurrents, the LEDs and the Eastern to name a few.

I think Tiki Tana would be great but Dave Dobbyn or Hayley Westenra(maybe).

I think this will be a great show!!

Tiki Tana would add to the roots sound or how about Liam Finn for that kiwi rock thang, but please bring back Age Pryor.

of course the sweet soulful Snoozy & melodic sound of Adi Dick might cause a few goose bumps to appear...if you cud score any international faces, then Cody Chesnutt and Martin Luther will do the job well done....

    Ooh, Ladi 6
    in the mix,
    would make the perfect show,
her lush vocals would blend so well
    with Barnaby & co.
Such soulful, sweet & funky tones
    would fit with wondrous ease,
    That said, I’m hooked
    on who’s already booked,
    Can I have tickets please?!

P-money and Scribe! Hiphop blends so well with other genres, it would be a really awesome colaboration!! I reckon Barnaby would love it! Mind you the line up this time round is something special already - please send me and my beautiful new wife! It would be such a great way to celebrate our 102nd day wedding anniversary! :)

ohhh.....to join fly my pretty's? Charlie B to sample and remix into minimal dubstep. Alternative, yet alot could be made of the vocals. There is alot of gold to be mined!

The guy from Garageland. I was listening to them the other day and they were so underrated at the time. Or maybe Shayne Carter, he is legend.

ladyhawke will line the beats, pop it up and give flight to the enigmatic FMP--why let nz's hotness new gig rise to international acclaim prior to a sing-a-long with the great?

What an awesome line up for this year's listening pleasure. I would add Anika Moa to the next line up of FMP. Her vocals would blend in beautifully and just add that something little extra to the show. What a treat that would be.

Without a doubt, I would love to see Wellywood artist Iva Lankum as part of the FMP lineup! She's a soul sista with great vocals which are immensely sultry! It would be wicked to have the vocals of Nat Rose as well...another soul sista keeping it real!! Internationally, if Barnaby Weir could create magic and have Alice Russell take to the stage then these 3 talented musos would definitely create something new...hmm, please let Barnaby read this so it happens :)

I would love to see good old Liam Finn as a part of the next Fly My Pretties. He would bring such a dynamic to the ensemble, and I'm sure someone as talented as Barnaby Weir would be able to incorporate Liam's full-on stage shows involving looping etc. into one of Fly My Pretties' concerts, for the rest of the performers. I think they would come out with some pretty interesting stuff!

Why not Stevie Wonder. What a night that would be.

    Wellington is bigger in culture.
I'd say P Diggs should welcome boys at Aotearoa.
enough of cold London. Time to bring good tunes to Wellington especially when it's so windy-freezing in here.
Man with a voice - he would be a good extra spark to the show.
Would be a good nite. Exciting gig. Exciting voices. Exciting music.
    Let it happen.

With such an awesome line up you'd just can't leave out "Holly Smith". It wouldn't be right to leave this wellington lass off the line-up.. She's one of a kind..
