The Tudor Consort presents a sampler of sacred and secular music from the major regions of Renaissance Europe — England, France, Flanders, Italy, and Spain. The programme features the Kyrie from Palestrina’s Missa Papae Marcelli, the haunting motet Tulurunt Dominum by Flemish composer Nicolas Gombert, and Tallis’s exuberant Loquebantur variis linguis.

Pre-concert talk at 7.45pm.

The Tudor Consort appears courtesy of Chamber Music Hutt Valley.
