The U Leisure Winter Duathlon is one of the few multi-sport events taking place during the winter months. It’s a fun, social event open to everyone – both genders, all abilities, teams and individuals.
Walk or run, it doesn’t matter how fast you go. It’s about challenging yourself and reaching your own goals. Take charge of winter and join us for a rewarding challenge.
Two distances to choose from:
Distance 1: 4km Run – 9km Bike – 2km Run
Distance 2: 6km Run – 18 km Bike – 2km Run
WHEN: Sunday 21 June 2009, start at 10am
Registration open at 8.00am - 9.40am.
WHERE: The race headquarters is the University of Waikato sports fields
(near the tennis courts), Silverdale Rd, Hamilton.
ENTRY
Individuals: $30
Teams: $80 for a team of three - all complete the entire distance. Teams need to have at least one person of opposite gender.
