If a night in a dungeon sounds like a good time, then 'Lashing of Wipped Cream' is for you.
The Hamilton Performing Arts Trust who brought us The Imaginary Invalid and Rumplestilskin in the Hamilton Summer Festival would like to introduce 'Lashings of Whipped Cream'.
'Lashings of Whipped Cream' is the story of a teenage dominatrix- Mistress Dominique played by Renee Casserly, written by Fiona Samuels and directed by Gaye Poole (Compleat Female Stage Beauty, The Laramie Project, and Cosi).
The plays sole actor Renee Casserly thinks the show extremely humorous.
"Male and female audiences alike find 'Lashings of Whipped Cream' a laugh a minute" she said.
However, it’s not all fun and games, Mistress Dom waxes lyrical about choice, God and other more personal matters; including what’s really underneath our own desires. Her points of view are guaranteed to produce a giggle at the very least, and at the most the odd coronary!
'Lashing of Whipped Cream' plays at the The Meteor, Number One Victoria Street: 10-13 June 2009 and 23 June as part of Ignition the Hamilton Fringe Festival.
For a night of laughter and insight into the world of a teenage dominatrix tickets can be purchased from ticketek for $28 for singles and $18 for a group of 10 or more, students and pensioners.
