Manukau Symphony Orchestra and Conductor Uwe Grodd are proud to premiere composer-in-residence Anthony Ritchie’s Piano Concerto No.3, commissioned by the orchestra. This sunny and life-affirming work has been written especially for Wellingtonian pianist Emma Sayers, renowned for her performances of 20th-century music.
Before presenting this wonderful new work, the Manukau Symphony Orchestra will perform Mozart’s light-hearted Il Seraglio Overture. The concert concludes with the well-known New World Symphony by Dvorak.
