Make sure you come along to the Naval & Family tavern for a great afternoon of Blues with Blue Collar Band on stage. They'll be performing a selection of Blues-rock, Blues & Soul, Jazz-blues and Country-Blues. Yes, the Blues genre covers a great deal more than people realise. True Blues does not necessarily have to follow the traditional 12-bar format. Cream were a Classic Blues/rock Band as are the Rolling stones of course and many others! Eric Clapton has released many Blues recordings that are pure blues and yet not constructed in the usual way at all. The beauty of blues is the ability to improvise (like Jazz). It is FEELING or MOOD music. Anyway, Blue Collar Band will be really looking forward to performing on the 14th from 3pm! See you there !!
