Over the last 10 years Strike has built up a fierce reputation, here and overseas, for powerful and theatrical performances.
A team of five percussionists, their drum kit is a series of scaffolding towers covered with every percussion instrument imaginable, from which they create high energy movement based percussion.
After starting out as a saxophone player Australian Adam Page has evolved into a one man band, using innovative looping and sound layering techniques to incorporate 15 instruments, including guitar, keys and beatboxing into his live performances.
Strike and Adam Page join forces to bring you contemporary theatre at its very best, fusing ground-breaking composition and world-class musicianship with inventive instruments for an exhilarating trans-Tasman music experience.
