The play was written for Massive Company by leading NZ writer Albert Belz, using short stories by Witi Ihimaera as a starting point for a contemporary story, with themes that resonate with young New Zealanders. The play explores the notion of home, who we are and where do we really belong? Whero’s New Net follows the story of a young Kiwi musician, chasing her dreams in London and is about growing up and moving forward, whilst acknowledging the past.
