From New York to Tokyo, Paris to Moscow Hennessy has been blending many of the finest musical acts with the world’s smoothest cognac.
Now, Hennessy Art of mixing has landed in Christchurch to bring together an eclectic group of musicians who will be performing at Fat Eddies in Soul Square for ten weeks from Thursday July 9th.
Accompanying these musicians is an exciting range of specially created Hennessy cocktails for the crowd to enjoy.
Conceived in 2006, the Hennessy ‘Art of Mixing’ concept began with a global tour blending the most sophisticated cocktails with the best in musical talent. The 2006 tour included performances from Kanye West, The Strokes, Goldfrapp and Carl Cox.
Since then Hennessy’s ‘Art of Mixing’ has continued to thrive with musicians and DJ’s from around the world joining together to perform fresh live acts for dedicated fans.
“Hennessy ‘Art of Mixing’ provides an opportunity for people to discover new ways of enjoying Hennessy coupled with a fantastic night of music,” says Rick Stevens, General Manager of Fat Eddies.
The artists performing at Fat Eddies over the ten weeks of Hennessy ‘Art of Mixing’ will create an act especially for the event. Ten groups will take the stage on consecutive Thursdays until early September mixing up a wide variety of music including jazz funk, hip-hop, folk, soul, and rock-pop.
Fat Eddies will be mixing up innovative cocktails which draw upon Hennessy’s depth of character to create contemporary takes on classics such as the Mojito and the Singapore sling. All cocktails are priced at $13.
