For the 4th July we invite you to celebrate the great American composers from Copland's spring celebration of pioneering in Appalachian Spring to Gerwhin's melodic jazz inspired Rhapsody in Blue.
Described as one of the best musicians of his generation, pianist Simon Tedeschi joins the CSO for this American tribute. At 26, he has won a number of prizes including Symphony Australia "Young Performer of the Year".
Allan R. Scott is an American Conductor whose excuberance, power and sheer enthusiasm is infectious and fitting for this celebration.
