A generation of men went to war. Those who returned continued fighting – in their heads and in their hearts. Lullaby Jock is a father and son story. Of a life, lived by the father and told by the son. And what a life! Jocks incredible tales and operatic arias were the life of every party. But when the party ended... the dreams would come.
Simon Ferry performs this medley of his father’s true stories, embellished tales and fantastical yarns of a generation of men who sacrificed a life for their country.
“After one show a woman approached me and thanked me for the performance. She said ....’I am going to go and see my father.... I haven’t spoken to him for ten years. Now, I finally understand why he was the way he was.”
