Crisis on Infinite Earths is an exhibition which draws its inspiration from childhood memories of the 80s, a period of massive, endemic urban expansion.
Skaters, petrol stations, the comic-book hero The Flash and robots represent childhood summers of youthful revolt all fused with politically flavoured text.
When we were young, we all had the ability to run and move extremely fast. We all possessed superhuman reflexes and with our boards we desperately tried to violate the laws of physics.
We ran and leapt. We ate. We refuelled and skated. Forever young. We were fearless. With lighting bolt speed we rode home to eat at super speeds. Fascinated by robots, we were the speedsters of our era.
