The Phil Broadhurst Quartet

Pianist Phil Broadhurst's new quartet appears for the second time at the club with a fascinating mix of surprising treatments of standards along with sparkling originals. Expect a fresh approach to the tried and true, including a new look at the latin classic "Besame Mucho" and "Just in Time" in 5/4.
Young drum star Jono Sawyer joins the quartet, with the frontline duties going to the brilliant and ubiquitous tenor sax of Roger Manins. The talented Oli Holland rounds out the band on bass.
