The New Zealand “Open to the World” Professional and Amateur Adult and Senior Ballroom and Latin American Dancesport Championships to be held at ASB Stadium, Kohimarama Road, Auckland 25th & 26th July 2009.
Introducing International and New Zealand top Dancers competing for prestigious New Zealand titles. If you enjoyed TVNZ’s “Dancing With the Stars” you are sure to enjoy this weekend of glamorous glitter and fancy footwork. You may even see a “Star” or two.
With over 300 dancers from throughout New Zealand and overseas, the day sessions (sessions 1 & 3) will be the elimination rounds. Both sessions will feature Ballroom and Latin American dances for all grades and ages.
The evening sessions (sessions 2 & 4) feature the grand finals and spectacular showcases of the best dancers at the competition. Both evenings will feature Ballroom and Latin dances.
