Timaru District residents, visitors, and descendants are invited to FREE entertainment for all the family at the celebrations of the Strathallan landing 150 years ago. This is followed by a concert at the Soundshell, and the Caroline Bay Carnival will re-open for the day (charges for rides).

The HMNZS Canterbury will be in Timaru port and meal tickets for an event on board have already sold out. Entertainment continues at the Soundshell from 7pm with Double Talk and followed by The Lady Killers at 8pm. The evening rounds off with a firework display from 11pm over Caroline Bay.

Food stalls will be available and families are welcome to picnic on the Bay. You are invited to wear period costume. Event memorabilia is available for purchase at the EFTPOS facilities on the Bay.
