This is New Zealand’s premier medieval tournament. Come and see armoured knights battle for supremacy in the Australasian Championship Joust, witness pitched medieval battles, knightly single combats, siege cannons and catapults, archery and more. This is two days of Very Dangerous Entertainment.
We want you to come and be part of the spectacle. Step through the grand entrance pavilion and enter a world like no other. Visit the historic encampment and see what medieval life was like, or shop in one of the many themed stalls at the medieval marketplace. There is something for everyone.
The Taupo Tournament is fun for the whole family, with special entertainments for kids of all ages. It’s fun, it’s educational and it’s affordable.
