One of the best recreational cycle rides in the country. Next year will be the eighth year of this event, which is Taranaki's premier cycling event.
The event consists of solo and relay riders riding one lap, 150km around Mt Taranaki. Three to seven person relay riders will do 167km.
The event has an elite section for men and women starting at 7.30am, with the main field starting at 8.00am.
The ride has great mountain views and passes through rural Taranaki country side and 12 Taranaki townships.
With great prizes and a carnival atmosphere at the finish it has become a very popular must do summer cycling event.
