Donavon Frankenreiter will be the only international act to hit the kiwi pub circuit in January and it will definitely be a show worth coming in from the beach for.

Dividing your time between music and surfing may seem to many like the ideal lifestyle, and for Donavon Frankenreiter it most probably is. It’s little wonder, then, that when the Laguna Beach local decided to hit New Zealand shores for two shows on 10 and 11 January 2009, he chose surf spots Mangawhai and Waihi respectively as the ideal venues for what are sure to be summer musical highlights.

Two local legends have been called upon to join the bill for the shows. With their unique style of New Zealand roots and psychedelica from the 60s and 70s The Little Bushman will play support to Donavon in Mangwahai on 10 January.

Heading to Waihi for the following night concert goers are in for a triple treat; reggae legends Katchafire will be joining Donavon and The Little Bushman for an unforgettable late afternoon summer session.
