Pete is a barefoot postman because his toes are all six inches long. When he is swallowed by a deranged mailbox and his mailbag taken by a hooded figure, it’s up to Officer Brown and the brave, but clumsy, police squad to retrieve it. Despite their courageous efforts, the police are captured in the Spooky Old House and it looks like they’ll stay for lunch. Now it’s up to Pete and the neighbours. Will they make it out? What about the mail? And where’s Sally? (Music and Lyrics by Mark Dennison).
The performances will be the culmination of the first Artworks Youth Theatre Holiday Programme: two weeks of workshop and rehearsals involving about 25 young people.
