New Zealand's oldest sporting event, a spectacular Regatta featuring over 500 yachts, Tall Ships and 40 tugboats on the harbour celebrating Auckland's 169th Birthday.

9.00am: Heritage Parade of Sail featuring classic yachts and tugboats starts from the Viaduct and parades up to North Head.

10.00am: Tugboat race with 40 vintage and modern tugboats starts off North Head and finishes off Torpedo Bay 10.30am.

11.00am: Race starts off Orakei Wharf featuring classic yacht starts at 11.35am.

From 11.00am: Centreboard racing at Tamaki, Kohimarama, Northcote Birkenhead, Takapuna and Wakatere yacht clubs.

Radio controlled racing from 10.00am at Viaduct, Westhaven and Wattle Farm, Manurewa.

Best vantage points: Tamaki Drive, North Head, Bastion Point, East Coast Bays.
